Control My Nikon was recommended on this forum. I got it and it works great (fantastic price also). Here is my question. I'm shooting a Nikon D200 connected to an inexpensive laptop and my images appear in Lightroom 4. Shot to appearance is about 8 sec. Does anyone have a faster time and how do you achieve it?

Unfortunately, the only cure is get a laptop with a processor that processes graphics faster.
