I would pronounce the 2 syllables with a short ni and a longer kon, in the video it was very much reversed. with a very long i :)

Ok, always thought it was pronounced Ni as a long vowel sound, I never heard it pronounced any other way. So, which is correct? Who really cares anyway, we all know they are a Japanese company that sells mostly Quality Cameras and other Photographic accessories. Maybe other products too.
