As I posted 2 weeks ago UP's 844 locomotive went to Tennessee to celebrate the opening of the Big River Crossing bridge. It left Memphis on the 22nd of October and meandered it's way back to Cheyenne, Wy yesterday. I decided to take some vacation time and chase 844 from North Platte, Ne to Cheyenne. I arrived inNorth Platte early enough to drive on over to Lexington and add another 65 miles to my chase. Attached is my first photo. Original, edited, & edited & B & W. More to come later.
P.S. For all you out there that will tell me this is in the wrong section.

Love to watch the UP engines. Missed 844 in Kansas City this trip. Have some great videos of her from 1984 in Omaha, when she pulled a consist of UP and MoPac executive cars to the New Orleans World Fair.
