I'm not going to try to define any of those terms. But I will make some of my thoughts known. I was shooting with the young lady below, and I asked her what her definition of "erotic" was. She didn't verbalize her answer, but instead simply started taking open leg poses. I'm not a plumber, and I didn't expect her to expose those depths. In fact, even though I continued shooting, when I downloaded the images, the only ones I thought were worth saving were cropped from the more explicit ones. This image is a case in point, use your imagination as to what her right hand was doing. I am younger than a lot of you guys, (I retired only four years ago, after working for 50 years) but I have found that some of my models "interest" me more than others, and those are not the typical looking model. So as with any portrait photographer, I aim to capture the personality of my model, rather than just the curves and impact points.
I am in awe of some of the work I see on here of the play of the lights sculpting the figure and revealing the goddess within.
I guess I'm just a GWC (guy with camera) who enjoys the company of young naked girls in the out of doors.

It is the facial expression that makes the photo erotic plumbing exposure or not... also here the stroking of the hair is a sign of expectation.
Google "stroking hair body language" and start reading... most refs agree it is preening and asking for you to stroke.

Some of my thoughts on the subject -
First though - very nice photo - I like the lighting and shadows.

One of the issues today that has been studied is the younger folks don't think nudity is taboo - thus the sexting and the see through clothes... So they don't realize that skimpy clothes, the right expression and pose can be very erotic - case in point on this - Playboy has changed their format to have the girls partially clad -

A friend of mine had a basic rule when doing boudoir/nude photography - no pink. He would not shoot it and would end a session if the model presented it. Some of the models thought he was too conservative and uptight, but hey, everyone has their own guidelines. He had a thriving business until he retired.

Variety is the spice of life - do what you enjoy and try to enjoy it to its fullest...

I think your point is directly related to what I was trying to say. Although I missed the hair stroking, the cropped image with the direct eye contact is, to me, much more erotic than the full on graphic display.

From the story behind the photo, it is amazing what one has to do to get a great facial expression. With kids it is usually the photographer or his assistant making stupid faces or playing with teddy bears that works. But if it works, then carry on!!

(Will you swear that YOU were not doing something akin to shaking a toy teddy bear that got her into her mood?)
