Coupla questions ( I have always been better at questions, than at answers). Is the portrait of the 2 leopards a crop or did you cut off the bottom of the jaw on the lower one.? if not a crop error do not submit that one. The B&W image is a sure winner.

I agree with this, If you can correct the bottom on #4 use that one.

Do you have any idea who is judging? If so take a look at their personal websites and see what they seem to like. Looking at images that have won in the past might give you some guidance. #1 has a painted background so I wouldn't use it. #4 part of the lower animals face is cut off so I wouldn't use it either. The two images that sort of grab my attention are the last two.

I see no problem with the face not being all there in #4. The shot is a close up and there is nothing wrong with it at all. The subject and emotion the photo brings says it all and all that matters.

You are right, it is the top face that tells the story.
