Abandoned ski lodge

This place is a quad's ride away from my house, so I get to visit frequently :) I even took my daughters high school senior pics there.
This ski lodge was small but popular way back in it's day, and for being way out in the "middle of nowhere" it did a good business for many years. Then it changed hands... and due to mis-management and poor decisions it was closed. It now sits, rotting away. It's too bad someone couldn't buy it and make some kind of retreat or even destination out of it.

It is a waste alright but finding someone to invest the kind of cash it would take... that would probably be next to impossible.

That is really sad, Wendy! So much could have been done with the place in such a beautiful setting!
