I would like to see a copy of that check, bank draft or wh**ever.

My understanding is that when the current sitting President, Vice President, First Lady, etc. go out to help campaign and help a candidate, all expenses are to be reimbursed back to the United States from the campaign headquarters of the party they are campaigning for. That would be a sizable sum of money when you consider use of Air Force One, private t***sportation of some kind, secret service men, hotels and on and on and on. I would like to see the amount the DNC gives back this year and I would like to also see check copies from (the DNC and RNC) for previous years. Somehow I bet that amount of money never gets back into the coffers of America. The other problem that I have with this is that if the President is out campaigning he isn’t tending to his job.

They basically pay the US govt what it would cost the president to fly first class on a commercial air. A few thousand per trip.

Everyone on the payroll is getting paid whether they are flying or just sitting around playing cards. That being said I do not think the costs are accurate, and probably over stated.
