Yesterday was a beautiful day for a picnic and a little leaf peeping along the parkway in NC. Unfortunately not one of my better day for capturing great pictures. These were the only ones I consider keepers.

The photo is beautiful ....
I was up around West Jefferson the first week in Oct ...unfortunately I was to early for the color, still so some spectacular views though...

The color is not as good this year. Leaves are dry and fallen in a lot of places, but in other places the color is spectacular. The view of the mountain is still beautiful .
