I have the old version. I simply love it. Sharp, sharp. Did I say sharp???? It is my go to lens. I shoot the Milky Way with it at 2.8 and love the results. Landscapes as so details it feels like you are there. It was pricey, but it was worth every penny!! Just bite the bullet and get it You will not be sorry. It is one of Nikon's best for a reason!
