Here in the UK there has been a long spell of lovely sunny days so I decided to take some "Autumn" themed photographs in the local park.
When I arrived I was amazed to see nearly all of the trees were still very green with very few signs of Autumn considering that it is nearly November.
I suppose that it must be something to do with climate change, so here are a small selection of the shots I took which prove my point.
I will have to return in a couple of weeks when I hope Autumn will have come to this park.

Excellent set John and i noticed exactly the same thing up in Cumbria over last weekend.
Same this side of the hills- I gather trees decide when autumn arrives partly on day length, and partly on growing conditions. This year has been excellent for them, so they try to keep growing for longer. It's a bit of a risk- an autumn storm can bring down a tree in full leaf.
You have a touch of color to suggest the season will change soon but for now your green fields and trees are lovely!

Just be patient and hang on to summer as long as possible. It won't be long untill you will you will want summer back.
Beautiful images, John, even if they are mostly green!
