Frankly her argument is chilling that she wants to save the toddlers and children that die by firearms but is all for unfettered access to a******ns. Save the children indeed!

So, a******n...what constitutes life? Well, the opposite of life is death. How do doctors identify when someone is dead? No heartbeat, no brain activity. By using that as a definition of death then the presence of both heartbeat and brain activity defines life. A fetus has a heartbeat at around 8 weeks along. Brainwaves can be detected at 6 weeks.

Nagy: You could prove this conclusion by comparing the suicide rate of countries before and after banning most civilians from having guns. Without that, all you are doing is speculating, as I would speculate that because guns make suicide so instantly and easily attained, the suicide rate would have to drop in their absence.

Ok that last statement was agonizingly stupid. If we take away guns we may lower suicide by gun. If we eliminate booze we may lower drunk driving. Shocking!

Nagy: That last line actually makes my case. That is why I suggested that you read up on what happens to suicide rates when countries remove guns from civilian hands. I have already done the reading.
