Re-enactment of the Battle at Concord, MA April 19, 1775; known as Patriot's Day. Processed this color image with texture overlay and toning to attempt to have it appear as though originally from that time.

There was no film photography in that era. The first camera capable of capturing an image was built in 1827: https://www.reference.com/history/first-camera-invented-422579aae26bb8a8

You are correct. My apologies (to Louis D and his peers as well) for my poor choice of words. I never meant to mislead or rewrite history in any form. The intent of my effort was simply to have it appear as an 'old photo' with operative word being 'appear.'

Thanks, Bob. I've been to a few of these type of events and this one was the most interactive that I've experienced. Nearly all the actors willingly and passionately engaged in conversation about their portrayals, and were astutely competent in their knowledge of the historic details. Thanks for looking in, and glad you liked it.

Excellent! Looks original to me. However, I don't think the original canteens were that shiny.

Sharp eyes, Rhett. The original image proves your point. I'll have to look a little closer when I blend a texture. Thanks for looking in and your comments.
