I'm afraid for me, it doesn't. The bushes look quite bright and clear, and the rain is mostly hidden in the textures of the trees. I can see the rain if I look closely, but I wouldn't get the sense that you were attempting to feature it if you hadn't mentioned.

Not really. It can be noticed in the upper portion but thats about it.

The background tends to hide the rain a bit. I have been there and and seen these conditions so its probably easier for me to appreciate your image.
May have been easier for others to understand if you had maybe pointed the lens at more sky which would have shown up the downpour more easily.
I am however enjoying these Dartmoor images and they bring back pleasant memories so thank you my friend.

Thanks Linda, I sort of expected that was the case. I've been trying some different processing so will post another, to my mind more successful shot, soon.

This was taken from the deck of a lodge we hired, deep in the Teign valley - a beautiful spot Billy. I'm having a go at another shot I think does the trick and will post it later. My thanks for commenting, and glad to stir some pleasant memories.
