I have two pictures of Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway. One picture shows a much better reflection of the mill in the pond, while the other picture has better color (IMHO). I would like others opinions of which one they like better, and any other critiques they may have.

Beautiful set!! Love the reflection, composition and being surrounded by fall colors!! My favorite season!!

From my view, I like the first one a tad more. Maybe cause of the colors as you also wrote, but also the composition.
The second shot I like it also, I find it appealing and very nice. I guess you could add some more light into it, maybe that's what I am missing.
Besides that I like them both.

I like the slightly closer view of the mill and the composition of 2. There is almost too much foreground in 1 for my personal taste. In 2 the mill and that beautiful reflection are the stars. Both are very well done.

I like them both but I really like the framing of the mill with the trees in the 1st one.

That's a tough choice. And what you say about each is exactly true. Proves you can't have everything! But why do you have to choose? Why can't you use both of them?

I like them both! And, might prefer the first one. And, you probably already tried this, but a crop of the first to frame the mill with the branches on either side. Sort of a hybrid of the two.

I like the first one the best because of the bright colors. I know monitors can make a difference as well as downloading programs.
