This is a fisherman from Newfoundland taking me out to sea for some cod fishing. A commercial fisherman skipper taking his boat away from the mooring and heading out. High school students and instructors at a recent day where the students learned, fly tying, fly casting, entomology and knot tying in the class then we took them to a local trout pond to put their new found skills to work.
So you became a Newfie....must've been one terrific trip...cod make THE best fish 'n chips. Congrats. We made it to the Labrador border in August

I don't shoot pictures of people very often, but I do take pictures of my grand kids. Here are a few. The redhead is a grandson and the one in the green shorts in the last two pictures is my grandson.
That's stuff I'd like to do but it is frowned upon around here.

All right............how did you do #1?
Smart photo editor . Very easy to do, just choose the black and white option you like click on mask which turns the whole photo b & w than just fill in the area you want colored. Only took about a couple of minutes.

I find it interesting people watching, the clothes, expressions, joy, laughter, sadness. There is so much to photograph without being to obvious.
So show us some people photo's. I am not very good at this subject and could learn and get tips from you all.
Great starting series, Lorima, thanks for hosting. No. 1 is super. I got to learn how to do that.
A while back in the summer our son organized a 30th HS class reunion, and since Dee taught Math at his HS and was class sponsor his senior year, guess who got invited to check PEOPLE in at the gathering. Well it did present a perfect people shooting opportunity and I took advantage of it even though lighting wasn't the best for top notch shots, still I had fun.
