Brazos Bend State Park

Attached are some photos that I took recently at Brazos State Park about 35 minutes from my house. I could not get closer to all of these shots since the posted sign read "Beware of Alligators". I did not want to take any changes.

Looks like a good place for wildlife - the alligators not withstanding. Glad you heeded the sign's warning.

I took many of these photos immediately near the Beware of Alligator sign although I never did see an alligator.

My favorite is 1-the clouds, reflection and composition.

These are beautiful images, Steve! We had an alligator scare in one of our local parks a few years ago, which is unheard of in PA. All the tv stations were there, but no one ever saw the alligator that was supposedly seen there.

Thank you for your comments. I have seen alligators on land before. If you stay at least 30 feet away from these creatures they will not bother you. Usually, I give them at least 50 feet to be safe. The dangerous alligators are the ones that humans feed and these alligators get very aggressive around people.
