The highlight of our second trip to Monument Valley was a sunrise tour with a Navajo guide. As rewarding as the experience was, it left us wanting more. Perhaps we can look forward to another trip to go deeper and stay overnight in the Valley. Note; the last image is our location at sunrise...it was as dark as the other images, just PP to give perspective.

Wow! Those are some of the best I have seen of Monument Valley. I've been there but did not know such tours were available. What is the approximate cost for such a tour? Where do you sign up? If I get back there I want what you had!!

Thank you for looking in, and I certainly appreciate your kind words, nikonboy. There are a number of well-recommended photo tours you can research online. Trip Advisor also has reviews and costs can vary depending on which tour/length you opt for. We were very pleased with Navajo Spirit Tours.

Wow.....these photos are remarkable. Looks like you had plenty of company by the looks of all the cars in the one photo. Thanks for sharing.

Longshadow, appreciate your visit and comment. Thank you for the tip...can you add a bit more to explain how that helps?

These are really outstanding shots. I love the last one. You turned the awesome landscape into a down to earth place. Seeing the other photographers catching the sunrise made it very real for me.

Images after #1 are not visible on my machine, only download is available. When downloading, it asks what (program) do you want to open it with (browse) (or to download the file to my PC) because there is no extension (It doesn't know the file type). I opened them with Windows Photo Viewer, since I was betting it was a JPEG. Had to do this for each. If you retain the (JPG) extension, they are visible on the posting page for known image formats. Unnecessary steps if the extension is included in the file name.

Thanks Steven. Appreciate your comments. One of those times that 'being there' gets a lot of the credit.
