Good compositions. When I lived in Texas and was working some of the ranches in the SW these were some of my favorite subjects.

Some great proof that you don't always need "golden hour" get worthwhile results. Actually think the high sun, especially in the first (my favorite) helps that "high lonesome" feeling.
