If I can, I will include "Urban Swimming Hole," which isn't exactly a portrait, but it does have something to say. These are photos of Lawrence Hosannah that I took just a few years back in Brooklyn.
Fifteen minutes every other day for ten years and you will have a body like this. QUARNTEED
Good photos, really like the last one.
But if you use needles to achieve results in bodybuilding, your body isn't shaped like this. Your body becomes a parody of what a good human body is supposed to look like. Lawrence probably trains four times a week, maybe five, and not for fifteen minutes a session, but more like 60 - 90 minutes per session uninterrupted by other people chattering in the gym. He is a "natural bodybuilder," meaning that he doesn't use steroids.
I noticed in one of them that there is a big, dark, ugly hole in the wall somewhere around Lawrence's right elbow (just remembering, but not looking at the photo right now). This, I think, should be PhotoShopped over so the eye doesn't wander to it.
Lawrence Hosannah, personal trainer, fine arts illustrator, painter and writer, from Brooklyn, New York. He is Anglo-African but came to this country at such an early age that when he speaks you hear Brooklyn, not England, in his accent.

Nice study of a great human body. What a lot of perserverance this man has gathered to achieve this result.
Great shots! And, I don't want Lawrence mad at me.
Lawrence would never get mad. He's too intelligent for that. He'd get even.
