I can't get image resizer by Brice Lambson to install on my pc with windows 7 professional. Keeps coming up with a missing log in the pc. Any ideas??

Perhaps a more definitive description of the issue would enable us to suggest some solutions. There are quite a few logs kept by operating systems.

Probably a C or visual basic library run-time. Both are available for free on the MS web site.

Looks like a recent remake of the BriceLam page where you now get the image resizer (codeplex).
Try this to get his latest page. then on that site do the download (very subtle link) on the page I picture below, then install. Have been using it recently... no problems. Although the app often seems interminible to load and run. Wait it out. I've had numerous hangs on this before it loads. Have to install a few times sometimes. However, it works well on 7 8.1 and 10 for me.

Problem solved by a microsoft update after the new windows 7 was reinstalled on my pc. Thanks for all your suggestions.
