This lens sells for abt. $355 on Ebay and is described as follows: the lens is modified to M42 mount, you can now use on CANON, Sony, Pentax DSLR or all other mirror-less cameras like Sony A7 series with suitable mount.
Now, I am puzzled in understanding what is being "said" -- does the above description means that I must use an "AF Confirm M42 lens to Canon EOS Mount Adapter" for my T1i/500d Canon camera to be coupled to this lens. I do have that particular adapter; if I buy that lens, will it work on my Canon?
If the lens is modified to a M42 mount, will I need my M42 mount?
