On the start of the Apache Trail. These are straight from the camera, manipulation. Yeah I know some could use some help.

it looks like one those many tourists traps along the major hwys.
in the western part of the USA. some can be a lot of fun to visit like one California, Calico CA. in the Mohave desert.

None that I am aware of.
Here's a list of movies made in AZ:

I've been there, and it's not a 'Tourist Trap' in the common sense. You don't need to spend much money, and the buildings and surrounding country is worth the look.

Calico was a lot more fun before the original buildings were stolen and moved away and the County of San Bernardino made it a park, paved the street with asphalt and build some poor replicas of what had been there. I know what was there because emu uncle took me there "back in the day" when I was 14-15 years old. I am now 81.

If I remember correctly the last time I was at Calico was 1982 or 83. it had dirt streets then I do believe some of there buildings did need repair mostly do to weather damage and poor upkeep.

My comments were based on a visit to Calico in 2011.
