It was just announced. Will have Olympus developed 5 axes image stabilization. Now it just needs lenses.

How about the other camera announced by Sony, the RX100V and 24 fps. That's right 24fps. Now, that is fast.

i think that is video frame rate, not for stills.

It is a fast camera non the less, fastest in its class according to Sony.

It might be fast but unless it has a global shutter look out for distortion in moving subjects.

You are exactly correct, it can be an issue with electronic shutters. The new Olympus em1 mark 2 that was introduced at photokina claims 60 shots per second with the e shutter.

The entire sensor is exposed at the same instant instead of progressively from one side to the other. This can be digital or mechanical. A linear shutter exposes a bit at a time and the moving object image moves across the sensor as it is being exposed and is distorted.
