Nikkor 70-300 AF-S VR 4.5-5.6 zoom lens

I have used one for years on a d600 and now on a d810. Excellent lens for the money. A bit soft on 300 but sharp everywhere else. I shoot surfers with it and it has a fast focus. Buy it new not used. I have owned two new ones and one used I picked up on ebay. The used was beat up with vr chatter. New is the only way to go on this low priced lens.

I have the lens-- but I'd recommend the 80-400 or even something longer unless you are in a blind.
