I'm looking for a point&shoot to compliment my Nikon DSLR. I very much like the Nikon P7100 but my only problem with it is it's a lot bigger than your average point&shoot. Are there any other makes of point&shoot cameras that has the excellent controlls and photo quality of the P7100 but smaller?
Take a look at the Canon S100 or the Lumix Dmc LX5 (panasonic) great cameras . As for the P7100! I have it now and I have to tell you is not that big
that it poses a problem !! it's my walk about camera .
I have the P7000 and I bought my GF a P7100 for Christmas !! We love them. Focuses to less than an inch. Will do bracketing for HDR. I always have mine with me. Love it.
I have the canon s100 and love it. At F2.0 it does very well in low light. It is also small enough to fit in my pocket. The ring around the lens can be programmed to adjust many settings making it easy to set manual controls. My main camera is a Nikon D7000 but there are times when a point & shoot is easier to manage. Especially when traveling with my Harley!
