It looks like a 55-61 Nash Metropolitan. The two tone color scheme did not appear until the Series 3 and Series 4. I've never heard of a Nash Cosmopolitan.

The Cosmopolitan was the women's version.

Don't know where I dreamed up Cosmopolitan! My first car was a '53 Ambassador for running the fields and abandon roads in 1963. The unibody construction sagged and eventually the center of the car dragged on the road.

not sure. I'll let the owner of the store that this was in front of tell me. Chance photo taken when I dropped my wife off to her bowling league. There was a ten minute window when this shot was available w/o "modern" influences. I only had the film camera with me. It is the downtown of my home town. It reminds me of the photos that I remember of downtown when I was a child (I'll be 60 in January). My father, my goto resource for these questions passed away 4 years ago. I'm not sure he could have told me anything about the flowers, but he would have known about the bicycle and the car.

Hey, just one more comment. Sears also had one under the Allstate label. Nash Metropolitan with an Allstate nametag.
