I haven't been on here for awhile because my Canon 7D MK II and Canon 300mm Prime Lens...was getting too much for this 70 year old lady
I've sold all my equipment and bought a new bridge camera...the Sony RX10 III...and although I might not get the quality I use to get I've never been a fan of pixel peeping anyway
Sometimes you just have to make sure you're still having fun with your hobby
Sony RX10 III
ISO 1600
Aperture f.4
Shutter Speed 1/1250th

You still have the eye. Getting older requires change and using technology to our advantage. At eighty I am still trying to adapt. I just consider it another challenge in life. If there is a will there is usually a way.
Thank you flyguy...I really appreciate your encouragement...and I'm so glad to know you liked them!

I find I must chime in here about the so called "age" thing, I'm sure most of you have heard the saying that one is only as old as you feel. For me that is very true, as I've been around for 77 birthdays and I often walk 5 to 8 miles a day here in hilly San Francisco doing my photography.
Two weeks ago I decided that I wanted to go to the Sierra's and shoot the autumn colors, so I got on the internet and was able to get two nights stay at the lodge in Yosemite and 4 nights at Murphy's Motel in Lee Vining, at the "last minute", all starting next Tuesday. On my stay in Lee Vining I'll be visiting Bodie, Virginia Lakes, and June Lakes where the trees are just now beginning to turn color.
I will be doing this alone and I don't let anything about doing it by myself or that "age" thing concern me in the least.

Thank you Linda...I really appreciate your encouragement...I just enjoy photography too much to give it up!
I like your images very much and I don't care about age at all. 70 was a nice age for me some 13 years ago. Keep up the good work with whatever suits you in the camera department.
