Since you describe this as a photo, my preference is no. 3 which is a well executed photo. However, I actually like both one and two very much but they are more painterly.
Thanks for replying. All three were from the same original photo. With Photoshop, I just tried some different "looks" on #1 and #2, and did some adjusting of exposure, contrast, and sharpness on #3.

Thanks. You're in agreement with most of the other commenters.

Numbers 1 and 2 nice, but my vote is number 3.

Three renditions of the same photo in Monument Valley.
Which do you prefer?

I like both of your renditions in 1 and 2. But I think I like detail of the foreground and "monuments" a little better in 1, but in my opinion the sky is a little too much. I would, assuming I knew how, move a little more toward the sky in number 2, but that sky is a little too close the the original. Really like what you are trying to do with this image. Look forward to seeing other renditions if you choose to do so.
You did a nice job with these, I do like #2 the best.
In order of my preferences - 3 (actual photo, minimal processing), 2 (nice watercolor effect), and 1 (the very visible brush strokes in the sky are off-putting for me.)
The third, then the first, last the second. I always prefer the natural look with these kinds of photos.
Without a doubt, #3. A terrific shot and as fantastic a place as it is, show it as it is.
