Just got the new Tamron 150-600 G2 and had a little daylight to try it out. It's not as sharp as my Canon lens that I can tell but not bad. More testing when I have time.

If you handheld either you are very steady or the lens has great image stabilization (whatever Tamron calls it). Nice sharp images!
