This tree is 50 to 75 feet tall. The dune has most of it covered up.

Nice pictures, when you get anywhere near Lake Michigan or any of the other great lakes...you can except a lot of sand, just like the ocean.

Thanks! I had back surgery 8 months ago and was a little concerned about climbing the dunes, but got a pleasant surprise in that it felt pretty good to hike in the sand.
