Reply "Dress will be supplied in size 22 only, groom not furnished"
Maggie, That brought a smile to my face. You think she was serious or did she think your prices was so high that it should include the dress?

Well the contract should require a model release at least, the dress can be an optional accessory for cost, and permission from the church, city hall, or other venue for not wearing a dress should be provided with the deposit for the contract.
Sounds like Kim Kardashian and friends wouldn't be a problem!
Indeed, ad photos usually have exclusions... world of communications if funny indeed if we read what is said instead of what is meant.
Maybe it's a generational thing but I was recently talking about Craig's List with a group of people in their mid 20's and one of the women had used it to sell her wedding dress.
It includes the dress but you must bring a Nikon D4, 24-70mm f2.4 lens, 105 mm 2.4 lens and a selection of strobes and reflectors.😊😊😊
I thought it was just a photographer touting for business. What is hilarious about that?

There's nothing hilarious about the ad; it's the reply question that's funny.

No you can go without dress (naked).
Yes, it is interpreted funny....but ...you have never heart of a business where you can rent and dress like from western, psycho or 60s ? then take a photo and enjoy fun?
Sorry, I am not a photographer, but I have read it in serious way . Maybe because I have lived in Alberta.

Some of the better portrait studios do have an array of props available for shoots, including various articles of clothing. In the 1800's and early 1900's, it was very common for portrait studios to supply the client with formal wear, such as suits, gowns and hats.

I get that too from time to time.
Maybe you should answer "I can give you wedding photos for $200, but I can't guarantee that you will know the couple in the photographs."
