Outstanding capture of Sophia. Great pose. Love the black and white. Is she available as someone else's muse?

All you gun guys crack me up!
I understand the 4 safety rules better than you guys think. I'll leave it at that. Johnfrim I won't give you crap about guns since you leave in Canada but I've worked with RCMP in the past and they are a great bunch of guys.
With that said, Sofia has never held a gun before and she looked weird having her trigger finger index on the slide so we went with the trigger. This is a photoshoot not a firearms training class.
Now for the gun It's 3rd gen Glock-17 and no magazine in the mag well and I removed the firing pin (I'm a certified Glock armorer) so there's no chance of an accidental misfire. The gun is modified with optics for low light shooting and co-witness for suppressor sights for back-up, in additional, triggers have 3.5 pounds disconnectors, and extended slide release.
Let me know if you guys have any more questions.

I said I hate guns and what they stand for. That is not only because they kill people, but also because they are used for hunting. I am not against hunting as long as the weapon of choice is a photodetector behind a long lens. I think it takes more skill to stalk an animal and get in close for the "kill shot" with a camera than it does using a rifle with a scope. Furthermore, the animal can be shot over and over again multiple times by many other "hunters with cameras."
I realize the issue of guns is a hot potato for the US, especially now, and I don't want to derail this thread. But I did want to point out that this is a photography site, and hunting with a camera would probably appeal to many readers contemplating becoming hunters. I know that hunting with a rifle vs a camera is not the same thing... apples and oranges... but I like to observe and enjoy nature, and I want to be able to share that enjoyment with others rather than hang the trophy on my wall. That's just me.
And that's why I enjoy seeing what others are shooting, especially in this section of the forum. Great targets, and some really fine kills!!!

"A gun is just a tool that can be used for good or bad." Too bad you can't grasp that simple truth. BTW, as a Canadian, what do you think of the RCMP allowing Sikh officers to wear turbans (!!) instead of the traditional black stiff-brimmed hat? I'm curious; some Canadians are disgusted.
Another reason to avoid picturing stupid gun-mishandling is that it can be copied with bad results by people not as careful and expert as the OP.

I'm happy to discuss via PM or by invitation to a new topic in a different section. Let's not derail this thread any more. I am sorry to have caused it to stray this far already.

No one will shoot you. Just emulate the model and be careless and you'll do it yourself.

Reminds me of the girl (different hair color, if I recall) who wanted to commit suicide quickly and painlessly, so she followed the advice to shoot herself just below the left nipple; she blew her knee cap away!

The GLOCK 17, in 9x19; tiny, small compared to what I shoot (.445 SuperMag).. LOL

Major safety violation. Makes model & photographer look bad, and a major distraction. You're violating BOTH of the 1st two primary safety rules.
What's the make/model/caliber, btw?
LOL, you're worried about gun safety?!?!
But to answer your caliber question...., I'd say the caliber is 33-24-34 !!!
Any other pressing questions???
