Florida is covered with parks, nature preserves, etc. I live in Clearwater, FL and have 4 nature preserves with abundant birds and other wildlife (including alligators) within a 20min car drive, or an hour or so by bicycle. And then, there are places like the Electric Plant just south east of Tampa on Tampa Bay. We went there last spring and there must have been 300 manatees enjoying the warm water coming out of the electric plant at the Manatee Viewing Center. There is a large boardwalk above the water giving excellent opportunities for shots with almost any lenses. The, of course, the beaches and the Everglades. The Wife and I moved down here from Pennsylvania and I can't imagine a better place for nature photography. And I had a herd of 16 deer that hung out in my backyard in Pennsylvania. But 16 deer or hundreds of birds including osprey, eagles, woodpeckers, etc. Alligators, armadillos, raccoons, squirrels (yes I know they are everywhere) but down here, you can easily shoot a hundred pics a day and that isn't even the girls or guys (depending on your orientation, lol) in swimsuits on the beaches or in the pools. And coming up Feb. 6 (I think) is Raptorfest in St. Petersburg, Fl. There will be an Condor, falcons, eagles etc. All trained for free flight and the whole thing is free. If you really want pics, go down the keys and get tons of pics from Key Largo to Key West. Or St Augustine (the oldest town in the United States), Daytona (home of the speedway and other things but nothing compared to St. Augustine, Tampa, Orlando (bring your money because of Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, and the other amusement parks. Also Coco Beach Fl. and NASA (Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral (formerly Cape Kennedy)) and Miami. I know this reads like a travel log, but in reality, if you are near the center of Florida, pretty much everything is a couple of hours away. Just be aware that If you are on the East Coast or the West Coast from Tampa south, there is no easy way to cross the state because the Everglades and Tampa Bay block the way and the highways have to go around them. In other words, from about the Sunshine Bridge (Saint Petersburg, Fl) south, you have to either go north of Tampa or down to Naples Florida before you can take an interstate east to Miami.

Having been in Stuart many times (my parents had a home there), I'd say the first thing to do is to leave.
That being said, the above note is correct. The south of Florida is a photographer's paradise, along with the four corners area and the Pacific coast. In fact if you have your eyes open, there are photo opportunities almost everywhere - even in the desert. Walk or drive slowly - best in the passenger seat with someone else driving, and look around. It's there!!
