can anyone advise me how to tether a nikon d70 to a laptop? i have vision problems looking thur the viewfinder and the small screen. thank you

Check out controlmynikon.com
I've been using their tethering program and find it quite helpful. You can change your shutter speed, aperture, even trigger the shutter with you mouse. You'll need the USB cable that you use to move your photos from your camera to your computer. I added a 10' USB extension so I can position my camera wherever I want.
I got it instantly for $20, which may have been a special deal...haven't checked lately.

Yup, my D200 is supported... I am at work and can't watch two 13 minute videos. In nutshell how does this work ?? Through a USB cord or Bluetooth ??

Yes the D200 is supported. Sorry GC, I looked too and didn't pay attention. My bad!!! LOL

What computer are you connecting to? Sofortbild is a free application which supports the D70, but is written only for the Mac.

Do you happen to know if this will work on a d3100? I also have some vision issues sounds like a blessing!!!!!
