Nice, Voss. This one could be architectural photography, too. Any ideas about the markings on the building's front?

Thanks, jaymatt. I'm not quite sure which ones you mean. The plaque off to the right on the sidewalk is undoubtedly some historical marker, as Galveston was an historic early city in Texas (I think the first one, actually).

I was referring to what looks like graffiti between the second and third floors.

I'm not sure. My guess would be that the sun is reflecting off something from a building across the street (windows, perhaps).
