Just a word of caution to anyone buying from B&H, you NOW need to be extremely cautious when buying from them as they are now selling grey market cameras without labeling them as such. Case in point, this Nikon D750 "Open Box" camera, sold as a display model at a discount. It was actually a UK model and not labeled as such, nor labeled as "Import". Most all their grey market lenses have always been labeled clearly as "Import version", and they may all still be labeled that way for all I know.
Here is the listing as it stands:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1273731-DEMO/nikon_1543_d750_dslr_camera_body.html

The image posted below is the end label of the box received and clearly shows the serial number as 8906216, Nikon SN's starting with "8" are shipped from Nikon to the UK for sale and warranty in the UK ONLY! B&H has carefully placed an inventory bar code sticker over the factory ID label covering up the "UK" designation on the box. As with all grey market product sellers the FACTORY warranty card has been completely removed making even warranty repairs in the UK impossible to obtain. I did not remove the inventory label as I do not want to risk loss of my refund.
I am not posting this thread as an attempt to influence anyone in any way as to dealing with B&H, just beware of what you get and check it well.

That is very disappointing to hear. Do you know if the "USA Only" filter is selected in the side bar if that blocks out the imported?

I'm sure B&H will address this issue. And it's a D750 full frame. Strange, I just received two packages today from B&H, just one hour before reading this. I already have my cameras, but I'm planning to buy two new lenses from B&H before Christmas. Thanks for the alert.

Apparently it does not, I don't even see such a selector available on their site.

One should not be hasty. In my experience B&H has always been straight.

That's always been my impression of them since I bought my first F4 there in 1988. So far this year they have accepted over $21,000 from me, but this deal has significantly soured me on their selling practices. Non-disclosure is no more than hiding the facts.

You are right of course. But it's good to be aware of a possible problem.

While I think B&H has hurt it reputation by disguising grey products, it does not hide the fact that some of its cameras and lenses are Grey Market. There is a detailed explanation about this on their web site. It is not that there is no warranty on what they sell grey market, it just mean you have to accept the warranty through B&H and return your item to them for service. Here is the statement from the B&H web site:

For IMP items only, B&H provides a warranty identical to the provisions and limitations of the manufacturer's warranty for such items, with the exception of the time period, which is equal to the term of the manufacturer's warranty or one (1) year, whichever is less.* Your dated B&H sales receipt is all you need to obtain warranty coverage from B&H for a "grey market" product purchased from us.

Should you experience a problem with a product sold with a USA warranty, it can be sent to any of the manufacturer's authorized service facilities for servicing (and some even to any worldwide authorized service facility depending on the brand). A "direct import" or grey market item would have to be returned to B&H if it required in-warranty service.

I know this will cover most bodies which typically come with a one year warranty, but on lenses some of them carry a 5 year warranty which means you would only have one year with the B&H warranty vs. the 5 year with the USA version. I have never had a lens fail after a year of use so I can't address whether the additional 4 years is useful or not. Maybe someone on the Hog here can relate an instance of getting warranty service on a lens over a year old. If so, I think it would be helpful for other members in making a decision on buying grey market vs. USA warranty.

That says it all, but read the first four words; "For IMP items only". Doesn't help when the do not state the product is "IMP" for Imported!
