Some B&W shots from around P'town Harbor. The photos of the women on the side of the wharf is an art installation featuring photos by Norma Holt titled 'They also faced the sea". The photos celebrate the matriarchal side of P'town's Portuguese fishing heritage.
As always, comments and suggestions greatly appreciated. Your comments are my fuel.
Thanks for looking.
Looks familiar. Nice shots.
What, or where is 'P'town?'

Yea. Around here P-town is Pottstown...
Members should understand that the forum is world-wide, not just your corner of the world.
Unless you spell it out, no one outside of your area may know where or what it is about.
This goes for mnemonics also.

From the web:
Provincetown is at the northern tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The seaside town is on the site of the Mayflower’s landing in 1620, commemorated by the towering Pilgrim Monument and neighboring Provincetown Museum. P-town is known as a longtime haven for artists, lesbians and gay men. Numerous galleries plus restaurants, nightclubs, cabarets and specialty shops are clustered on and around lively Commercial Street.

I'm getting tired of googling all the things, there are many here.
Why should I have to research to find out what someone is talking about?
Is it that much trouble to type a few extra words?

On my daily to-do list is "learn something new" - this site gives me the opportunities
And in some of the searches, I find other interesting places that I didn't know about and add to my "to-visit" list...
The last one is quite interesting. Not sure I'd have seen the possibilities there. #1 has a lot of impact for me, as does the idea of that exhibit.

OOPS! My apologies to all. I had written 'Provincetown' in my first attempt to post. Unfortunately I lost my connection half way through the upload and had to start again and never proof read the second version.
You have some nice examples of street photography there.
Great set, good B+W subjects.
