Just bought one for my daughter, with just the regular lens for $389 from Cameta. With the longer lens added in, this would be a good price.
Curious. What are you going to upgrade to?
Not ready to sell, please forget my original text here, I have changed my mind, an good upgrade will cost me to much money, and I will now need to reconsider this deal. I should have counted the cost before posting any ad.
I have the Nikon D3300, and I like it. But, I'm a newbie, of sorts. I've only owned it for a year. It's my first DSLR, and I haven't fully learned its capabilities. I was curious what functions you thought it was lacking, and what you had in mind to replace it.
Check out back button focus
Is that a feature that you think would be better suited with an upgrade over your D3300? I did already browse through your "Back Button Focusing" topic in the Main Photography Discussion. I looked at a couple of the youtube videos, and it appears to be viable with the D3300. I haven't tried it yet. Have you tried it? If so, what do you think?

Yes, "Back Button Focusing" works well on the Nikon D3300, at least on mine it works great, except sometimes I forget I have it, and wonder why when I push the Shutter button half way, it does not focus. Just bought a refurbished Nikon 35mm DX 1.8g lens, put it on my D3300 and tried to Focus with my Shutter button, Nothing! After a few seconds of panic, I did remember my "Back button focus", works great, now I am off to explore with my New 35mm DX prime lens and see what I can Capture and Create.
I just picked up a 35mm dx lens....Love it! Believe it or not, I'm using it to shoot boys basketball in the gym. Wide aperature enables no flash. Great shots, nice bokeh. It's not long and cumbersome, so I can move around the game quickly. I laugh, there's another person taking shots, who scoffs at me. She's got a long, long lens and has to sit on the corner of the court. The color of her product is poor, as well as composition... She's too close and so lots of feet and hands get cut off. maybe if she weren't so busy judging, I'd share some info. However, she looks like the real deal. I might look like a hack, but that short lens lets me shoot low ISO (400 / ~250 SS).

Again, it just goes to show its not the equipment but, the photographer that makes the image...
Thai's true. Actually, I have a 55-300 that I thought would be the best choice initially, but at widest it's f/4. I found that I had to shoot around 3200 (mostly b/c you're zooming and able to park in one place), this makes for too much noise IMO. Also, with a fixed lens there's less adjustment (framing with a zoom) so it's actually easier to get the shots. I was really surprised that would become my "go-to" for basketball games.
