I started getting active in photography in 1971 with a Nikon F2 and "film!"
Currently I shoot strictly digital with an emphasis on macro photography of butterflies, miscellaneous insects, spiders and flowers; and birds and mammals.
Also, I enjoy action shots of horses and dogs.
I am in the Los Angeles area and there are many migratory area locations for birds and butterflies as well as many National and State Parks.

There are a Macro, Closeup and Birds in Flight/On Water, and Sports sub forums you can go to, and of course the Photo Gallery is sort of the general hang out and just about any subject goes section. There is a whole list of others you explore. Go to the top left under the word Ugly and click on Home, scroll down and just above Forum Statistics will be All Sections, click a list of all sub forums comes up and you can subscribe or unsubscribe from there.
