Made it to Merritt Island Wildlife refuge, this morning. Shot the sunrise, then went off in search of other subjects. Sunrise was shot with a Sig 24-105mm, and the shots afterwards were handheld and shot mostly with the Sig 150-600mm C-the last 3 shots were with a Canon 70-200mm f/4L-all on a Canon 7D2. The butterflies(shot 4 different-look the same) were the daysaver. The Kingfisher was first one I've been able to get close enough to shoot-and it was still 100 + feet away-those pix are very heavily cropped

Travis, these are all super! I can't believe how smooth the water is in some of these and what great reflections. I particularly love the gators and the frog. They look so neat just peeking out of the water. Again, great set and very well done!

Have you ever tried a Thermacell for the mosquitos. They are great no smell, Takes a couple minutes to warm up but mosquitos disappear. I've used all over the glades, big Cypress & Fla bay.
