Hi Chums, if any of you have the Fuji XT - 2 + the Fuji 100 - 400mm f4.5/5.6 and using this combination for wildlife/birds in flight I would very much appreciate your assessment. I have checked You Tube and the Fuji forum with negative result. Thanks a lot.

If you send me a PM I'll put you in touch with a Fuji nature enthusiast who uses this combination. Cheers.

I have used it with mixed results due to operator inexperience. I did compare it with my results with the Nikon D819 and 200-500mm lens- the results were comparable except for the pixel difference--ie not as large enlargements could be made with out using prog like fractals etc. Initial reaction is that it is sharp but you need sufficient light and ISO under 8000. Keep in touch and I will let you know what happens. PS I had to change systems due to illness and partial paralysis.

Thank you for your reply. I am still debating the X-T2 as a replacement for my 2 x EM1's but the spec for the new EM1 mark 11 is quite juicy, and would be the most cost effective.
