Anyone have experience using Filmora software for video editing? Checked out the free download and used and it seems good enough for my needs. Thinking of paying for full version . Has anyone had any trouble with this software ?

I would suggest you consider something more mainstream like Adobe Premier Elements. There is a lot more training, support, books, etc. And, there are lots of people on various forums that can answer questions.

You don't say what computer you have or what experience level you are at, sooo.... Have you tried Movie Maker? Hard to beat for starting out, it's a free download from MS and you can get the basics just by playing with it.

I did try Adobe Premier Elements and found full of features but rather tedious to use. After a couple months of working with it I went back to Corel's Video Studio. It may not be a fully featured but it has enough features for my purposes and to me it seems much easier to use. I'd recommend giving it a try.

Movie maker has stopped working on my computer (a problems with Windows 10) and the Microsoft site says that it is part of Microsoft Essentials that is not longer going to be supported by Microsoft starting in Jan. 2017. I looked into buying the Adobe Premier Elements, was frankly discouraged by the reviews for Adobe service and problems of crashes. I do not have much experience with video editing but do a lot of editing of stills using Lightroom and Photoshop Elements. I am using a HP computer running windows 10.

I've not used Filmora but I intend to look at it. Currently I have two editors: trakAxPC is my go to editor. It does the basics very well and is at a reasonable price, now under $40 I believe. I have another called Video Pad. It's not quite as easy as trakAx but has many features and sells for around $100 or. Both or either will do a pretty good job for you.
