There are species of small frogs that live their entire lives in bromeliads high in rainforest trees, never touching the ground. They lay eggs in the accumulated water, the eggs hatch and the tadpoles mature in that water. While this frog doesn't live its life in this bromeliad on my back deck, he seems pretty happy hiding out there! Still playing with my new Canon 6D (and still really impressed) - this with a Canon 100mm Macro lens.
