So much for my memory. No, this did not have a deep blue sky - the others I took with the camera pointed at a different part of the sky did. I finally got the PP figured out, and this is what I had in mind to start with. So be it!

Looks great, Neil. The detail you brought out does add interest.
I thought of you as I drove past that same rest area this morning. Had to chuckle that you found pine trees (planted) to photograph in that desolate area of sagebrush

The sun roof would be safer now that the State has closed almost all of its mental institutions.
