New Win10 update trashed my printer

I allowed the update this morning and after the restart went into my mail program. Win 10 Version 1511 Build 10586.589.
A message about an upcoming Instructor Recertification with United States Power Squadron for me needed printing.
Nada, Zilch.
Had to download new Printer Driver package and reinstall the WiFi drivers.
You'd think they would know about this and warn you.

I too am disappointed with Windows10 I have "lost" my incoming mail and also outgoing goes into the outbox I think it is a pain ....

So it didn't "trash" your printer, you just had to upgrade your software.

I know i havent found anything on windows 10 that i like yet. A fair amount of stuff on my laptop before that i could find that i cant find now.

Same thing happened to my Canon printer..I called Canon service and the tech worked me through the fix. He was patient with my idiocy and he was extremely professional. My printer has worked flawlessly.
