My 35 year old son boxing for Cancer Research UK organised by Ultra White Collar Boxing. All participants had 8 weeks intensive training then came together for a night of matched fights. Everyone taking part came through it without any injuries. He won by TKO in the second round. So proud of the dedication he showed to the training regime.
It was a challenge to get the shots due to the lighting conditions and how far from the ring I had to stand.

Kudos to your son to undergo the training, and the boxing competition for such a worthy cause. I am sure you are proud of him, and rightly so.

Yes really proud of him. He has already signed up for another fight in a few months time, but continuing with the training right through. If the hospital can sort out the nerve damage in my feet I am also going to have a go in the new year. Stay tuned for more info after Christmas.
