Loaded 5X7 into the rear feed of the unit. Profiled job with size: 5X7. Printer error message.....paper size too small. Guess I'm missing something in the preparation! Need steering to the right controls. Thanks....P.J.
Rear feed or top feed? Rear feed is accessed from the backside, AFTER you drop-down the entry ramp (used for stiff matrix, like metal sheet). Top feed is for normal photo paper.
Canon's terminology is that the paper feed at the very rear of the printer is the Manual Feed and the paper feed at the top of the printer is the Rear Tray.
7x10 is smallest I think you can feed via Manual Feed.
You set the paper size to 5x7. What was your setting for the image size? And did you have it turned the correct way? I print a lot of 4x6 test prints and sometimes I get a really small image turned the wrong way of the paper or a similar message to what you got. It's usually because I forgot to set the image size and orientation correctly.
Thanks for the pointer.....I'll try this again making sure of an "image setting". P.J.
