More of the working folk of New Orleans. These are taken at different times of the year, with several from my visit last week. They are not in my Favorites, folder, but still thought they might have some interest in a group, where the weaker can be filler for the stronger. Again, let me know your opinions if you will, along with any suggestions for particular photos (from crops to discards!)
I am sorry that UHH makes such a mess of portrait vs landscape formats, it is so distracting I know.
Thanks in advance.
Looking on my iPhone and they look fantastic. Only thing I'd do is crop out the grass on the left side in the first picture.

They are all good Minnie but "Cafe du Monde- Opening Up" is my favourite. It's a real being there in amongst the action shot, a customers eye view.
All interesting and nicely done PP!! TG

A good series minniev and I agree "Cafe du Monde- Opening Up" is without a doubt the winner.
I like these, Minnie. They are all nice examples of street photography.

Thank you!. I waffled about that grass strip by the iron gate. I'm not very decisive about cropping

Thank you Graham. I probably should have included the coffee shop in the third grouping, which will include images less cluttered than my usual notoriously messy style.

Thank you. I used the same standard recipe for all of the ones in these two groupings.

thank you! They are as messy as the French Quarter, which is probably the reason I seldom fiddle with street photography unless I'm in NOLA. The city fits my kitchen sink style of photography. I think I would not be able to do the sleek spare street stuff I see from New York and other places.

Minnie these are great. Love the PP. Dancing in front of Rouse's, Cafe de Mondo and Tanya and Doriise are definately the pick of the bunch though.
I feel like I walked the streets with you.

Thank you, and if you "feel" these streets, my goal is accomplished!
Tanya and Dorise are some of my favorite subjects, I always look for them when I'm in town. They love what they do and it shows. Tanya left the classical symphony world to come do this.
Dave Chinn posted a great slide show about the dancers and musicians outside Rouse's that day.
New Orleans is a feast for all the senses. Your images capture the essence of the city perfectly. I really enjoy the series.

Thank you, it is encouraging to know someone familiar with the city thinks I connected the dots!
As a few others have mentioned, the Cafe shot is my own favorite. It would be very interesting to have a series of all indoor/just opening up workers methinks
