I only photographed Rosie because her mother asked me to. Photo was taken in morning light just outside her apartment as she left for the wedding. A freebie, gladly.
Trista,
Nice to see you have two willing subjects.
Here is my advice.
Buy this ebook.
"Portraiture tips and techniques" By Wayne Radford.
Read it, learn the lessons and concepts. It will teach you how to light your subjects, pose your subjects, which lighting schemes work in which situations, what poses work for what body/face types.
Where to take your shots WHY to take your shots in certain places...
Trust me...don't just wing it.
It's only about 25.00 and worth every cent.
Doing this ONE thing will turn your shots from ordinary snaps...to real outdoor portriature.
Trista,
The beautiful catchlights in the eyes sold me! From the size of them I'm guessing that it was an on camera flash. Very nice and really so easy to do. The sparkle in the eyes takes these images from the hohum two more kids to the lovely. Thanks for the treat. Other photogs take note. Roger

Shouldn't crop people's limbs will be one of the lessons in the recommended book I hope.
Thank u all for such good advice. I need all the help I can get. And will definitely try not to cut off anymore limbs. And I am so happy with their eyes in these pictures too. :) They have very dark eyes, so I really wanted to try to get them to pop.
