Especially like the pollen, I think it helps the detail.Nikon 3100 with 50-200 zoom all hand held.

Thanks to all! Settings were ISO 400 F11 shutter speed 1/400 (on most) Cropped slightly, I was about 3-5 feet away with zoom typically at 200mm.

Nice pictures.

I believe those are actually Carpenter Bees; Bumble Bees have a hairy abdomen.

Great images!!
But the highlights (pollen) are blown out, and appear as little white dots. This is difficult to control in bright sunlight, (one reason I love overcast days). A slight underexposure could help, 1/3-2/3 stop
